Introducing our largest Game Boy yet, featuring a CNC machined billet aluminum housing designed for the Game Boy DMG. This comprehensive set includes a machined front housing, rear main housing, battery access panel, thumb screw, and fasteners.

Features

• Larger cutout in front housing accommodates aftermarket screens without requiring additional housing modifications
• Compatible with 4xAA batteries using separately available 3D printed battery contact holders and metal contacts
• Room for customization: includes Type C cutout on the bottom and extra space in the battery compartment for adding a battery, Type C board, and voltage regulator (mod instructions forthcoming)
• Compatible with plastic buttons or our metal buttons

Warnings and Considerations

• Various screen versions are available; backlit screens and boards should fit without trimming. However, adjustments for screen positioning and holding may be necessary as included screen locating parts from some kits may not be fully compatible.
  • Funnyplaying screen kit (requires method to hold screen, slight adjustment needed)
  • RIPS V5 screen kit (requires 3D printed bracket, bracket not available yet)
  • One chip OSD kit (Q5 screen, requires 3D printed bracket)
• Front glass - Keep in mind the stock screen painted rectangular opening is smaller than most aftermarket screen kits, so get the correct one.  NOTE: The Funnyplaying glass is ever so slightly too large to fit these aluminum shells.  So close in fact, that some do actually fit.  You could make the glass fit by sanding the glass edge.
